Jennifer Ross, ActivEntrepreneur, Strategic Marketer, Mom of 3
Jennifer is a strategic marketing professional with more than 16 years experience. Her career began at JPMorgan Chase where she held various strategic marketing and business development roles. Through Intuitive Marketing, a strategic marketing consulting firm, Jennifer has consulted for startups, solo entrepreneurs, and large corporations.
Jennifer is passionate about being active whether it is taking a morning hike or leisurely walk on the beach and uses these activities to relax, increase her energy level, connect with people, and inspire creativity. To promote the benefits of being active and to help other entrepreneurs create an active social network, Jennifer launched ActivEntrepreneur, an entrepreneurial community that networks, learns, and mentors while on their feet, instead of in their seat! She also founded ‘Walk & Talk™ America’, a twist on traditional business networking that gets entrepreneurs on their feet to help boost local economies and keep businesses, in business.
Jennifer partners with MyLITV to produce and broadcast an online video show called ‘Active on Long Island’. The show brings attention to a diversity of activities with the goal of inspiring people to be active. It also spotlights true ActivEntrepreneurs who realize the value of being active and healthy and how that plays a significant role in both their personal and business lives.
Jennifer was recently nominated to the LI Press Fortune 52, honoring Long Island women who make a significant, unique and lasting contribution to their communities and workplaces. In addition, she received a Long Island Business News 40 under 40 award, honoring outstanding members of the LI business community who are under the age of 40.
Jennifer is focused on creating a flexible and successful lifestyle, enjoys spending time with her family and two dogs, is involved in her local community, strives to be active and healthy... and continues to inspire others to do the same.
